The monitoring and teaching of vocabulary contributes to the closing of the word gap and pupils understanding of words and their ability to apply this to comprehension skills improves for PP children.

Effective High Quality Teaching is consistent across the curriculum. This is complemented by a changed pedagogy enabled by technology

Effective teaching of reading is in place across the whole school which impacts on progress and attainment so that disadvantaged children achieve in line with national at both standards at the end of EYFS and KS1.

Effective teaching of writing is in place across the whole school which impacts on progress and attainment so that disadvantaged children achieve in line with national at both standards at the end of EYFS and KS1.

Effective teaching of maths is in place across the whole school which impacts on progress and attainment so that disadvantaged children achieve in line with national at both standards at the end of EYFS and KS1.
6.
Teaching is monitored to ensure that effective high quality teaching of phonics is in place in EYFS and KS1 and as a result progress is good and attainment is in line with national.
7.
High quality effective teaching of science is in place across the whole school.
8.
Ensure a high quality EYFS 2021 Framework continues to be implemented and embedded so the GLD is in line or above national.
9.
Interventions are highly structured to ensure children ‘keep up’ with all others in all areas of the curriculum
The curriculum is made accessible for all pupils.
Behaviours and Attitudes
10.
To address the additional SEMHD pupils face implementing taught metacognition, self-regulation, self-regulated learning strategies (EEF SEL) and growth mindset.
All staff have a good knowledge of Attachment Aware and Trauma Informed behaviour

Monitor attendance and punctuality regularly.
FSW and attendance lead to support identified families.
Personal Development

Targeting PP children to attend extra-curricular activities.
Planned enrichment activities to enhance the curriculum through aspirational visitors and educational visits
Leadership and Management

Each subject leader to take responsibility for the curriculum and impact within their subject.
14.
Subject leaders develop the use of retrieval skills / knowledge within their subject.
