Jackfied Infant School aims to reach our target of 97% attendance.
If your child is going to be absent from school please report this to the school office (01782
234450) by no later than 9.30am.
Please note that if your child has been physically sick either in school time or at home, then
in accordance with the Health Protection Agency, we are not permitted to have your child
back in school until 48 hours has passed since the last sickness episode.
COVID-19
In accordance with the Health Protection Agency, Children and young people with COVID-19
should not attend their education setting while they are infectious. They should take an LFD
test from 5 days after their symptoms started (or the day their test was taken if they did not
have symptoms) followed by another one the next day. If both these tests results are
negative, they should return to their educational setting if they normally attend one, as long
as they feel well enough to do so and do not have a temperature.

We have an ‘Early Bird day’ every half term. On this day, every child who is in
school on time will get a chance of winning a prize for all the family. E.g.
Dimension ticket, Family entry to Indoor Legoland.

Jack the Bear loves to spend time with the class who likes to come to school the most. Check
